Civil Ceremonies at Canonteign House

Steeped in local history, and once home to Lord Exmouth, Canonteign House is one of the most romantic civil wedding venues in Devon and the perfect location to start married life together.

We have one room licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships available six days a week, Monday - Saturday.

Depending on the size of wedding you will be allocated a set up date and time. Tables, chairs, powder rooms and kitchen facilities are not included. The Registrars' attendance fees are not included. These can be obtained from Devon Register Office in Newton Abbot.

Bookings and Deposits

To secure your date our booking form will need to be completed along with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the venue hire. If the event is booked within 2 months of the date then the full balance must be paid upon booking confirmation.
